One-words: death

death
feared
subconsciously
wished

tired
life
journey
long

rest
when
trials
many

zest
none
respite
bring

here
now

Powerful poem. Says a lot in so little and doesn't waste words. This must be very difficult to do, condensing thoughts and ideas in as few words as possible. I mean, it's easier to ramble on than to make each word count. A grave topic gravely told.

hi Luke,

it's an experiment. trying to see if it could make sense, and also sound poetic at the same time.

thanks

Superb Roy,

In my line of work, you'll get A+ for this poem. I like short but complete lines. There are no words wasted. It goes straight for the jugular vein. Ouch! Bravo!
